Exploring Shanghai’s Mobility Transformation Together? 

We are excited to announce an upcoming opportunity for Connekt (ITS Netherlands) members to explore the latest trends and innovations in mobility and logistics in Shanghai, China. This trip, taking place from 26 April to 1 May 2025, will provide a unique opportunity to witness cutting-edge technologies in action and to explore the dynamic mobility landscape of one of the world’s leading innovation hubs. 

During the trip, which we co-organise with Intertraffic, we will visit the Intertraffic China 2025 exhibition, where we will explore key developments in autonomous vehicles, smart mobility, and logistics. In addition, we will engage with local companies and experts to see how Shanghai is leading the way in these sectors. 

Why Shanghai? 

Shanghai is a global leader in mobility and logistics innovations, with advancements in autonomous driving, smart traffic systems, and sustainable transportation solutions. The city is transforming its urban mobility and infrastructure, offering valuable insights for organizations worldwide. This trip will provide members of Connekt-ITS Netherlands the chance to meet with local companies, government bodies, and academic experts, and witness firsthand the implementation of these groundbreaking technologies. 

We will also be attending the Intertraffic China 2025 exhibition from 28 to 30 April at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. This major event will bring together over 15,000 visitors from more than 80 countries, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, smart transportation, sustainability, and safety in the mobility sector.
